Funtanazza

Calatubo

Fastuchera

Located at 650 meters above sea level and surrounded by the "Bosco d'Alcamo" Nature Reserve, stands the first vineyard I planted.

In this small paradise, I cultivate the grapes for the All’Ombra dei Pini line, with 8 rows of Pinot Noir and 1.2 hectares of Catarratto Lucido for production of both Metodo Classico and still wines.

A valley of about one and a half hectares, surrounded by pines, oaks, and eucalyptus trees, overlooking the Gulf of Castellammare to the north.

The soil is rich in humus on the western side, gradually becoming calcareous toward the east, with an abundance of stones that make cultivation challenging but contribute to a remarkable minerality.

Within the vineyard, two fir trees have been preserved in respect of nature, and under one of them, I host tastings.

I dedicate this small paradise to my grandfather Nicolò with the still Catarratto, to my father Antonino with the Pinot Noir, and to my cousin Nicola with the Metodo Classico.

Just a few meters from the sea and the Castle of Calatubo lies the latest addition to the Longarico estate.

A 5-hectare plot where, in 2023, I began planting Perricone and Carricante.

A fertile sandy-clay soil, strongly influenced by the sea breeze.

Here, I have also decided to dedicate a small portion to olive trees and various fruit tree varieties.

There will be some surprises…

On the northwestern side of Mount Bonifato, at 350 meters above sea level, lies the vineyard that once belonged to my grandfather Nicolò and is now managed by my cousin, with whom I have been collaborating since 2015.

In this valley, surrounded by pines and eucalyptus trees, we cultivate Syrah, Nero d’Avola, and Catarratto Lucido, planted in 1998. From these grapes, I produce Nostrale, Catartico, and Insolito.

The soil is a medium-textured calcareous clay, benefiting from northern winds that carry the fresh air of our sea.
