All' Ombra dei Pini
Catarratto
In 2020, I introduced the new line All'Ombra dei Pini using grapes from the vineyard in the Montagna district. Also known as ''La Funtanazza' due to the imposing public reservoir dating back to the medieval era, located just a few meters from the vineyard.
With just 24 hours of skin maceration and 9 months in oak tonneaux, this wine presents itself with a bold character.
The significant temperature variations lend freshness and acidity, inviting sip after sip.
Mediterranean scrub notes blend with citrus aromas, pine resin, and lychee pulp, culminating in a delicate, spicy finish.
A wine of great elegance and finesse, perfect to enjoy from aperitif to the end of a meal, paired with dishes of subtle flavors.
