Its name already suggests anything but ordinary.
This elegant red is born from a blend of Syrah and Nerello Mascalese. In 2021, I added to the blend Nero d’Avola, which my grandfather Nicolò loved so much.
This resulted in a rich, intense, and elegant wine, crafted by playing with these three varieties. It has a medium structure and stands out for its freshness and easy drinkability, with notes of red berries, iodine, and balsamic notes.
It pairs well with a variety of dishes, from land-based appetizers, cheeses, and cured meats to first courses like busiate with tuna and eggplant, and is perfect with mains such as tuna steak.
